Five minutes now saves a lot of money later.

What the checklist uncovers

Are your systems actually compatible with cloud migration?
Where you’re exposed on security, and where attackers usually get in
Whether your current setup will cause slowdowns or outages
How prepared your team is for the move

Frequently Asked Questions

What are cloud services and do we need them?

Cloud services let you run your business IT through secure internet-connected platforms instead of physical servers in your office. If you want to reduce IT costs, enable remote work, improve security, or scale easily, cloud services are likely a good fit. We'll help you determine if and when it makes sense for your business.

Which cloud platform is best - Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud?

It depends on your business needs, existing software, budget, and technical requirements. Most NZ SMEs start with Microsoft 365 for productivity (email, Office apps, Teams) and add Azure for additional infrastructure. We'll recommend the right platform mix during your consultation.

Will we experience downtime during migration?

Minimal to zero downtime is our standard. We migrate in phases, typically outside business hours, and ensure employees can keep working throughout the process. Most migrations happen seamlessly without anyone noticing.

Is the cloud really more secure than our current setup?

When configured properly, yes, significantly more secure. Cloud platforms like Microsoft and AWS invest billions in security that no SME could match in-house. However, the cloud must be set up correctly with proper network security, access controls, monitoring, and policies. That's where most businesses struggle and why we focus heavily on cloud security.

What happens if NSP goes out of business or we want to leave?

You own your cloud environment and data, not us. If we ever part ways, you have complete control and can migrate to another provider or manage it yourself. No lock-in contracts, and we'll provide documentation and support for transition if needed.

Do you support cloud services for businesses outside Auckland?

Yes. We support cloud services for businesses across New Zealand including Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and regional areas. Cloud services don't require us to be on-site, though we're available for on-site visits in major centers when needed.

Can you work with our existing IT provider?

Absolutely. We often partner with existing IT providers to add cloud expertise and security capabilities they lack. Or we can handle everything end-to-end. Whatever works best for your business.

What if something goes wrong or we get hacked?

Our 24/7 Security Operations Centre monitors for threats continuously and responds within 15 minutes for critical incidents. We also maintain cloud backup and disaster recovery so you can recover quickly from any incident. You're never alone dealing with a crisis.
